Simon Hooke 

Gilson Wash District Councilman

Graduated from Globe High School with Honors in 1978. He is a Veteran of the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division, serving a total of 13 years. He attended Tech School to become a certified cable TV technician. He then worked for 15 years to build the local cable TV system for the Apache Cable-vision Company. With this experience he advanced to a position with S.C.A.T.U.I. as the Outside Plant Manager, where he worked for 13 years before joining the Council in 2010. Upon his many accomplishments he was married for 38 years to the late Saralyn W. Hooke, raising 7 children. Together they founded the Cowboy Ministries where he continues to share the word of God. For the last 12 years he has stood for projects that improve the community and creates a place for families to gather. He also communicates with elders and appreciates the knowledge shared.
